Our Story

Let me just say, you never know where God will lead you in life! I’ve always had cooking in me. When I was 11 years old, My Aunt Patricia and “Big Cuz” Marcus Hutchinson taught me the ropes of the kitchen. When I was 12, my Uncle Joseph DeVoil and “Big Cuz” Cedric Hutchinson taught me the art of grilling. Back then, I didn’t know what my calling was with this!

When COVID-19 hit, it taught me patience and perfection. With social distancing giving me more free time, I used it to cultivate culinarily. I Got in the lab and painted a slab of ribs with a sauce I now call Sweet Heat. I had to make sure my game plan was on point and I secured the bags. Through the taste buds of my in-laws, The Draper Family and My wife Eliza Devoil (The Sauce Queen), I practiced and gained confidence in my skills, and Budda's Heats & Eats LLC. was born. 

2023 is filled with possibilities and opportunities as we stive to aim for greatness with our products and services. The DFW Area (Desoto) is our new home and headquarters for the same sauces with the wonderful taste. We look forward to expand to new cities and counties in the state of Texas and surrounding areas.
